Our custom order roman blinds are fully lined and come complete with aluminium head rail and brackets ready for fitting. They will be delivered with instructions on how to hang them.
Our Arabella Pistachio roman blinds are made with the very best of British expertise and come with a 3 year warranty against manufacturing defects.
Roman blinds can be fitted inside or outside of the window recess. However, if you are fitting a blackout blind we suggest fitting it outside of the recess so that the blind can extend 10cm beyond the window on all sides. There will still be some light visible around the edges of the blind and along the stitch lines but this is unavoidable. Check our measuring guides on how to measure for roman blinds.
All of our curtains and blinds are dry clean only.

How to measure for your roman blinds
Recess fitting (within the window) or Exact fitting (against the wall)?
The final decision to make once you've chosen one of our lovely fabrics is how you want your blinds to hang.
Recess fitting
Measure the full width and height of the window recess. Don't make any deductions. We will make the necessary allowances for you so that they fitt perfectly.
TIPS
For both the width and drop, measure the window in 3 places as shown in the image opposite, and use the smallest measurements.
Use a metal tape measure as cloth ones can give inaccurate measurements
Measuring outside the recess (Exact Fitting)
If you want your blind to hang outside the recess, take the exact measurements and we will make the blind to your specified size.
Measure the exact width of the area you would like the blind to overlap
To minimise light leakage the blind should overlap the window recess by at least 7cm at the top and 5cm each side
TIPS
When choosing the overlap at the bottom of your blind, take into account obstacles such as radiatorsIf you are replacing an existing blind, measure it and we will make you a new one of exactly the same size

Which lining should I choose?
Linings significantly enhance the appearance and drape of your curtains and blinds. As importantly they also help protect the fabric fading from sunlight as well as providing an insulating layer to keep your room warm in the winter and cool in the summer.
You can choose from:
- Standard – A great everyday choice. Sateen twill. 50% Polyester 50 % Cotton
- Premium – Available in white or cream, with a special finish that feels super smooth. 100% Cotton
- Thermal – Specially coated on the reverse to help retain heat and keep out cold. 52% Polyester 48% Cotton
- Blackout – Specially coated to block out the light. 70% Polyester 30% Cotton
- Luxury – A soft brushed lining to give curtains both a fuller look and extra thermal properties. 48% Cotton 52% Polyester
